About Eric’s Cycling & Fitness

Eric’s Cycling & Fitness has been in business since 1970. It started as Clark’s Bicycle Palace, where we sold King B bicycles. Eric and Paula Clark were the original owners.

I’m their son, the second-generation owner, and I live in the house directly behind the bike shop. The current service area sits in the exact location of my childhood home. Two of the original walls from that house are still part of the shop today.

Later, the bike shop expanded across the entire front of the house and was renamed South Logan Cycle. At one point, there was even a section where we rented videos.

The name changed to Eric’s Cycling & Fitness when South Logan was officially renamed MLK Jr Blvd.

Eventually, my parents bought the Tasty Freeze next door to the bike shop and tore it down. In 1993, my dad and I built the strip mall that now stands in its place. We temporarily moved the bike shop to the far end of the mall while we rebuilt it over my childhood home. During that time, we tore the house down from the inside, mostly to keep ourselves busy during the winter. Once we finished, we moved the bike shop back to its original and current location.

My name is Eric. I raced on the South Logan Cycle (SLC) team for several years. You can still see some of my old helmet, racing bag, jacket, and trophies lying around the shop today.

At Eric's Cycling & Fitness, we’re a small, family-owned, full-service bike shop with deep ties to the community. We love being involved with local triathlon teams, gravel and MTB events, and races.

We’re dedicated to providing superior products and services to both the local community and athletes alike.

We are passionate about the sport and strive to make every customer's experience as comfortable and inviting as possible, creating a warm, small-town "ma and pa" shop feel.

Ultimately, our goal is to turn every customer into a friend of the shop.
